Portrait of Jen Shipley

I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 22 years of pediatric nursing experience, including over 16 specifically in pediatric neurology.

My approach to healthcare is to get to the root of the problem using a holistic approach to provide an individual treatment plan for each child, and family I care for.

I received my Bachelor’s in Nursing degree from Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD in 2000. I then worked as a Pediatric Nurse in Baltimore, Maryland at University of Maryland Medical Center.  I graduated with my Master’s in Nursing from University of Maryland in 2008. Following that, I worked in a large pediatric clinic for 3 years.  I then embarked on my journey in Pediatric Neurology training among some of the best in the field at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC from 2011-2019.

This is when I relocated to the Flathead Valley in Northwest Montana which is now where our family calls home.  I worked for Logan Health Children’s in Pediatric Neurology from 2019 until 2024.  I am excited to continue caring for the children, and families I serve throughout Montana.  I live in Kalispell, Montana with my husband, our 2 boys, and our very sweet golden retriever. My family, and I enjoy many outdoor activities, and I am also an avid equestrian.
